Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have only just started couchsurfing while travelling in Europe, so I've only surfed so far. I'll start to host when I'm back home in London.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've just started surfing, and my experience so far is awesome. Getting to see cities from local perspectives is much more interesting than just doing touristy things, and meeting new people along the way adds so much.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Movies:
Blade Runner, Ralph Finnes movies, Shawshank Redemption, Tarantino movies, Coen Brothers movies, Robert Rodriguez movies, Donnie Darko, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, spy films, I could go on forever really. Anything other than mindless Hollywood blockbusters basically.

Books:
American Psycho, the works of Dickens, Orwell, Huxley, Ender's Game, Alan Moore, The Beach (inspired me to start travelling), basically I try to read a lot and I really enjoy it.

Music:
I like so much music, ranging from techno and trance to classical and jazz. Play me your music and expand my repertoire.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I volunteered at an animal rescue centre in the Peruvian Amazon rainforest. Living in the jungle for three weeks was an experience I'll never forget.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I've got a degree in biochemisty, specialising in molecular biology and bioinformatics. I'm now a big data developer/engineer/scientist, studying a lot of machine learning and analysis methods along the way.
