ABOUT ME

I am a software developer from the UK. I've lived most of my life in Southern England, but spent last four years in Edinburgh. Recently I reduced my possessions down a single backpack of clothes and a laptop and have been travelling Asia & Europe.

PHILOSOPHY

Minimalism and simplicity. Apply your attention to simple things and you can get pleasure.

Interests

I enjoy good food, good espresso and good whisky. I am also a keen hiker (hiked in Scottish highland, French Pyrenees, British Lake and Peak Districts, Sardinia)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love George Orwell's books, especially his diaries. Down & Out in Paris is one of my favourites. Other favourite books include: Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance; Godel, Escher, Bach.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my favourite moments was reaching a peak of a mountain along the hiking route GR10 in the Pyrenees. The climb to the top was hard going, but the reward was a mind-blowing view down into the vally and the lake below.
