About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Ah, shit-- was I supposed to have a mission??
ABOUT ME
I'm originally from Durham, NC, a place that is still very dear to my heart. Over the last three years, I've spent more than two living in China. This is my third stint in China, this time around I'm serving as a PC volunteer in Mianyang. I teach English at Mianyang Normal University.
PHILOSOPHY
Just find what makes you happy, and do the hell out of it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I function primarily as an unofficial marketing agent/relentlessly enthusiastic advocate of couchsurfing, whenever it comes up in conversation or whenever I can casually interject it.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've both hosted and surfed in several countries; nothing but fabulous experiences. My faith in humanity continues to be reinforced.
Interests
First and foremost, traveling! I love exploring new places, meeting new people, and trying new things.
I also love photography, writing, music, cooking, eating, hiking, camping, good beer, cheap whiskey, and making questionable decisions. Just generally enjoying life!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Too many to even begin listing them here... Lets get a beer and trade stories.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I can give you some pro tips on how to kick ass at Uno.
Learn: I'd love to learn how to juggle while riding a unicycle, or some other similarly awesome and random talent.
Share: Stories, laughter, food, drinks, and general Tom Foolery
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm always willing to pick up some groceries and cook a good ol' southern meal for my hosts, or I'm happy to bring the hosts' beverage of choice. I can always share stories and smiles.
