About Me

Does anyone ever like filling out an About Me?

Well anyway, been in Germany for six months as I navigate its immigration process. The plan is to come here, work, save up for language school, then continue to work and get through that on my way to University. It's been a difficult and arduous road, but then, what isn't in life?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing to meet new people...like everyone else, I know...and to make more friends and network with more people throughout Germany. This is the perfect opportunity to learn about new cultures, hear different stories, and meet people who have such a love and passion for traveling as I do. I mean, the best part about Europe is the fact that you have so many cultures so close together, right? Why not explore or hear about as many as possible?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One thing I've done is survived a year in Afghanistan as part of Operation: Enduring Freedom 2010-11.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Having only been here a short while, I don't have much to share, but I've always been taught that no matter how much (or how little) you have, always share it. If you don't have any "stuff" to give, always offer to help the person keep their house or their belongings clean; no one is ever too good or too proud to do basic chores. It's the little things, one of many little ways that you can thank a host for their generosity and kindness, and the privilege of letting you stay with them in their home.
