CURRENT MISSION

To prepare myself for a cosy retirement as a celebrated and much in demand after dinner speaker! First I must fill my youthful, healthy and energetic days with a variety of extraordinary and amazing stories!

ABOUT ME

After university finished I set off to teach English in Vietnam and travel SE Asia. After 2 years I returned to the UK to follow my career aspirations of becoming a journalist or documentary film maker. Studied in Brighton and worked part time in a bar. Tried newspapers, documentary and radio... but couldn't hack the grey and difficult life for young people in the UK. So NOW I'm back and teaching English in Hanoi and exploring all the beauty and magic of SE Asia!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To see the world in the best way, through the eyes of the open minded people who live in extraordinary places.

Also to host and meet interesting and extraordinary people from around the world. Basically to learn and make friends!

Interests

Motorbikes/Cars, Paragliding, Sailing, Swimming, deep discussions (history, politics, religion, gender), amusing stuff! Good food usually with fine beer/wine! Big time... TRAVEL and ADVENTURE!

Solo skydiving in a static line jump at Uni, twice!

Plenty of roadtrips on a motorbike to out of the way places in SE Asia.
