About Me

CURRENT MISSION

what is the mission?

ABOUT ME

I used to be a dreamer, now I'm a life-dreamer. The difference is in your will to fight for your dreams to come true, instead of being basically alone with your so many beautiful dreams. Sometimes I can't take it easy, sometimes I can't take it seriously. Sometimes everything in the world is capable of give me emotions, maybe too many things. Sometimes I'd like to be strong and I discover I am not.
Basically, I haven't understood that much. Perhaps I'm just discovering my way. I'll keep you updated. I notice that, as a part of the people, I need people. I didn't really know. Giving is leaving a bit of ourselves to someone else who will make it live far from you. Giving is reproducing, it's the very true immortality of soul.

PHILOSOPHY

I used to have a lot of philosophies.. as I had the instructions for every moment in my life. Bullshit. Now that's my philosophy, the Question mark. Rather difficult to be pursued. I wish I were less optimistic, or better more sceptic. But once discovered a truth, no lies to anybody...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

few, recently

Interests

Studying, after six years and a sudden change during the way, I'm happy with the subject I study. Sport, I love football and motor-racing [I'm italian!! ;)]and rugby, tennis and volleyball, and I'm in love with cycling. But in general, I like sports. Reading... when you go to the university the time for reading drastically reduces, so you have to manage to doing it, because it's essential. Eating & drinking, of course. What else.. I have been the tutor for Erasmus students at my university, and I have loved that. Both foreigners incoming and italians outgoing, helping them, making them feel comfortable and let them enjoy this experience has been wonderful. I think that, after wheel and steam-engine, Erasmus is the best invention that man has ever been able to express. Sixty years ago, if one said "German", that reminded of war and destruction. Today "German" reminds me of a girl I have been in love with. Of when she closed her window in the frozen Swedish countryside, and started to talk to her dad, and I couldn't get a single word, and I decided i'd have learnt it. It's Erasmus. We are the first European generation.
I like politics, or better I hate politics but I love to know much about it, to study Public Law, to understand what is going on and to be able to think of some ways of making it better.
I don't live in Napoli anymore, but SSC napoli - the footbal team - is a very good interest. And Michael Schumacher, the everlasting - more than politics, unfortunately - in my "red" life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I haven't watched too many movies, even though I like cinema..Maybe "A beautiful mind" is my favourite one. Music.. I listen to different kinds, but i like more that music which makes you think. Some songwriters, like Bob Dylan, George Brassens, and a few italians, are maybe my deepest contact with art. Books... From novels to history, philosophy and essays, I have read a lot. And I like poetry. Pablo Neruda, Eugenio Montale, Friederich Hoelderlin (but i can't read it in German), Baudelaire. And, sorry for being obvious, Dante. And Shakespeare.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

a lot, but i'll be old when i'll be satisfied of what i have done.. so what's the next?

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a researcher of myself, I'm applying for a doctorate. What I have experienced and realized, I can tell. and i expect from all the others to do the same.
