Just learn about CS in a local mag and joined. A have met some friends already.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a bunch of people when I was living in Cuzco, Peru. I moved to NYC a few months ago and I have never surfed at anybody's couch yet.

Spent over a year living in llama herding communities in the Andes.

I know a little bit about how climate change is affecting the quechua speaking communities from southern Peru, specially to the llama herders. I spent the last four years reading, researching and writing about the social, geographic economic and ethnic exclusion of the indigenuos communities from the Cuzco region. Now I am a graduate student at Columbia University
