Well, hello. As an overly curious and easily distracted inhabitant of Amsterdam, I’m always keen of finding new things to keep me busy. Whether it’s a book, a park, friends, ice-skating, a stunning restaurant or a proper workout, as long as it’s challenging or new, I’m good.

I'm the guy who keeps nice places to go to in a small booklet and/or in my phone (which keeps getting me questions for advice where to go to). Besides that, I like to write. Mostly small, quirky poems, but for my job as a strategist in an advertising agency writing is a key element too.

At the moment I'm walking the length of New Zealnd (also known as Te Araroa), together with my girlfriend Sanne.

Sharing your hometown is something really nice I guess. Add the fact that Amsterdam is probably one of the most eye-popping cities in the world, and your all set. Its wonderful atmosphere, where architecture, diverse cultural backgrounds, great food and interesting opportunities meet, is a unique thing all Amsterdammers, including me, cherish.

Survived a week of backcountry Norway with a small group op men, just by living from the land. Including fresh caught trout, berries and a bit of reindeer.

Could bore you for more than one night with talking about advertising, its perks and its handicaps (including proper examples). Can show you around Amsterdam in a way no hop-on-hop-off-bus can. Can teach you how to make a killer macadamia-caramel cheesecake ór some really nice scallops with stir-fried ginger and bacon.
