About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To be Successful, Loved and Respected.
ABOUT ME
Shwmae Pawb! My name is Huw, I'm 27 and I am a BA (Hons) graduate in Popular Music for the University of Glamorgan @ the Atrium Campus in Cardiff.
I'm a Receptionist/Front of House Staff for the National Assembly for Wales (Government) in Cardiff Bay, I work part time as a Bartender in Wales's top Cricket Stadium and a part time Singing/Guitar Teacher. On the side I am a Bass Guitarist/Backing Singer for a local Soul/Motown group, am a tenor singer in one of Cardiff's high profiled choral groups and am a Singer/Songwriter.
I am a huge character, full of optimism and enthusiasm and am eternally grateful to live life the way I do, I tell people everyday how Im grateful for how I enjoy work and I do it to the best of my ability. Im surrounded and suppported by great friends and family, raised by 2 great parents and wanting to give something back to the world. I once desired to be a film composer, I had a portfolio of work I had been working on for a year or 6 but I've gone down a different route now of teaching and I might eventually start running/popularising Rock Schools/Morning Evening Clubs for kids in urban areas of Cardiff. Besides that I am a language/culture enthusiast who enjoyed a year's experience living and working out in South Africa on a Beach Backpackers and will be a better person from the experience.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is mix of hard work and luck, waiting around/moping and complaining gets you nowhere. If you have new ideas, go for it and be persistent until you get you result. I am not materialistic since the best and happiest people I have met on this earth have been the poorest, but they laugh that bit harder, sing that bit louder and take that extra minute longer to look at the stars, thats how I want to live from now on.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Id like to think that I am the typical young Welshman, Im easily approachable and friendly, I sing in a choir, I worship rugby, I speak Welsh, I love to segregate myself from anything British.........since it is a made up word which means nothing to me. So if anybody ever came to stay or would want to hang out, I would like to be a good guide on the ways of life in Wales and what the country is all about, maybe even give some Welsh lessons and tips on Welsh cuisine....................................................... Fe hoffwn feddwl rydw i yn engraifft gyffredinol o Gymro, rwyn hawdd i siarad gyda, rwyn canu mewn cor, rwyn addoli rygbi, rwyn siarad Cymraeg, ac rwyn hoff iawn o wahanu fy hunan o unrhywbeth Brydeinig...........achos mae'n air ffug sy' ddim yn gwneud synwyr i mi. Felly os mae unrhyw berson yn dod i aros, hoffen ddysgu am y ffordd o fyw yng Nghymru a beth mae'r wlad amdano, hyd yn oed falle rhoi gwersi Cymraeg a rhannu cyfrinachau coginio Cymru.

My job as a couchsurfer, I will give an honest insight on Wales and what its all about :) I love my country and i would love to share its beauty with everybody!.......and yes whatever you say, to me it feels like a country not a principality.
I aim to be a good example of a welshman and of a human being.
