hey you! I'm Gwen, 23 years old and studying veterinary medicine at the university of Antwerp. Although it is hard working (and sadly having not much time for traveling) it is very interesting. Besides studying I go out almost every week with my friends and other students!

I used to play volleybal, but because of this course I don't have the time for it. So its just the gym for now. But during the holidays I love to play volleybal at the beach. There are also other sports I like such as horseriding, skating, surfing, playing soccer etc.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel and to see beautiful places and cities. It is nice to stay in hotels, but it is even better when you can stay with the locals who usually know the city better than every travel guide! besides that it is awesome to meet lots of people from everywhere, to learn their culture and habits, to make new friends and having a lot of fun.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Horseriding in the winter in Iceland. The landscape was breathtaking and I truly recommend visiting Iceland. It is totally worth spending your money on it.
