ABOUT ME

Moved to NZ 3 years ago and never looked back. I met my partner Mario while working for a car rental company in Picton. A year ago we decided to go to Australia and we lived in Perth for 6 months also working renting out camper vans. We were so inspired that we got our own van and travelled the continent. In the end we sold the van in Sydney at the car market. It was hard to see the van go, but we had to moved to Hastings in the Hawke's Bay for Mario's new job. I became a NZ resident in Sept 09 and we got married in Oct. Before Christmas we left again for Australia to spent a few months there before going to Auckland to study naturopathy at Wellpark Collage. What a crazy ride!
We appreciate total honesty and people that can speak their minds. We are very laid back and we like meeting all sorts of different people. the crazier the better sometimes...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

WWOOFING in Spain and NZ. The best though was in Australia. We had our own campervan, so we didn't need to couchsurf. One day at the beach carpark, we were cooking, someone parked their car right next to us, got out and greeted us with 'hey campers, do you have any papers?'. He rolled up a big joint, talked to us for a little while and then went for a walk with his crazy dog and tattooed up girlfriend. When they came back from their walk they invited us to stay with them in their house. First we weren't sure cause no one ever picked us up from the beach like this before, but we agreed and we had one of our best weeks with them! Now we are good friends and we promised to stay in contact. These guys are awesome!!
