About Me
- Currently not able to host -
Friends say I'm creative, adventurous and a 'little' crazy. Travelling (obviously) is what I love most. I prefer a more alternative way of exploring cities and nature through trekking, camping, (hitch)hiking, getting lost and sleeping under the stars. I love meeting other travellers at youth hostels, but I still prefer sharing stories with locals.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The time I spent studying in Santa Barbara, California when I was only 16 years old definitely inspired me to see and experience more of this world. In July 2013 my friend and I made a West Coast road trip and had our very first Couchsurfing experience. I was pleasantly surprised with the friendly hosts we've stayed with in San Francisco, Hollywood and Ventura. I'm fascinated by this concept and excited to surf more couches or to host other surfers.
Interests
People, cityscapes, mountain trails, (street/graffiti) art, theater, belgian beer, all kinds of music (but severely weak for new wave and postpunk), wave riding, concrete surfing and documenting life. I spend way too much time on the internet and way too much money on overpriced coffee.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In Laos I hiked all the way up to an old and remote hill tribe with Akha people where I stayed the night. Encounters like that make a trip worthwhile.
