About Me

A teacher by trade and a trained visual artist. I thoroughly enjoy meeting new people and embracing new experiences, in order to develop more connections, find inspiration and develop art, and to add to the lives and journeys of the interesting people that I meet. I am a vegetarian and highly principled.

A natural explorer and adventurer, I relish the opportunity to embrace the new and to find human connection with new people who can offer alternate experience and perspective within mine and their journeys.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I wish to develop myself as an individual in order to embrace the new and to better my perspectives and understanding. I gain deep personal satisfaction from learning of the philosophies and journeys of others and utilising their experiences in order to gain insight into my own. I wish to give my generosity to others and receive the same in response.

I have a thirst for exploring and encountering the unexpected and I like to document my journeys through the use of instant film cameras in order to establish keepsakes and to develop personal visual art.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a wide number of personal favourites, which are added to by the day with the intent of working to create as diverse a range of positive influences as possible.

I enjoy all new culture, be it visual, auditory or otherwise and seek opportunities to access it and understand its origins. I hope to learn from hosts as to folktales, music, destinations, experiences and art that I may have not previously encountered.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have competed as an international level Downhill Mountain Bike Racer and have won championships as a participant and athlete.

Teach, Learn, Share

I put a great deal of personal effort into finding common ground and understanding with strangers and new friends with the ambition of bettering each others personal journeys through conversation and mutual understanding.

I capture and develop these experiences through a personal project entitled REV Project (revproject.org) that I personally develop as a database of inspiration and keepsakes. My ambition with this project is to improve the motivations and confidence of others through the presentation of inspirational stories.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to consider myself to be a highly approachable, affable and open individual who likes to contribute to the happiness of those around him through conversation, help and assistance.

I am never afraid to lend an ear, offer a helping hand of to put in hard work to help others and develop together. I enjoy frank and honest conversations and learning about the experiences of others. I enjoy and seek to take photographs of those that I meet and the places that I travel in order to capture the essence of the experience in which I am consumed.
