I am creative, my first love is to paint. I love meeting new people :) I am a Native Arts & Culture Instructor passionate about art and carries a contagious artistic energy ~ so my students, family and friends say. I teach Native Studies, and am also a curator. I love learning about other cultures.

I have donated my time to teach students art in the evenings ~ free of charge. I believe we are all creative in some form, each one of us have a different canvas :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I like what I heard about "couch surfing" and have met one couch surfer in Saskatoon. My daughter's friend couch surfed in Europe and I was impressed! I understand this community supports the independence of people. Wow! Awesome. I'm not sure how I can participate? I'll hang out and see what comes lol

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wrote a proposal for the start up costs $80,000 of a Chilcotin Immersion Pre-School. It is still in operation and teaches young children their Chilcotin language.

I have a love of art and teach art. Special skills include: nature crafts [birch bark biting], decorative arts [porcupine quill art], beading, footwear [moccasins], fine arts [acrylic, oil and mixed media], and small crafts [mandalas, key chains etc.] I teach all ages :)
