ABOUT ME

I am a recent graduate of Kansas State University where I majored in Geography and Latin American Studies (aka traveling). I love being outside, seeing new places and ways of live, trying exciting food, and generally doing anything I haven't tried before. I have chronic wanderlust and have no idea what I will do in the future but for now I will see the world.

Use the word 'no' as sparingly as possible, always have a smile, and don't get worked up cause you're still alive.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't had a stable place since graduating college so hosting would only be possible when I am back home working....but not many travellers venture out to SW Kansas.

Hitchhiking, mountain unicycling, bike riding, snorkling, traveling, camping, hiking, and anything outdoors.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't watch too much TV butlove informational documentaries dealing with science or interesting lifestyles. I love all sorts of musice. I read as much as possible (though it is hard to lug around heavy books in my backpack), my mom has been a librarian for the last 25+ years so it was an instilled passion.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Studying in Guatemala when I was 16 for six months. When I was 18 I hitched from Kansas to Guatemala, spending over a month in Mexico (one of my favorite countries). Winning the Great Hitchhiking Race for the last two years! (sorry it is hard to chose just one!)
