To do my own stunts - make my own experiences with life and not just taking listening to other's.

ABOUT ME

This fall my mission is to swim once a week in the sea. Or do a quick dip is probably a more accurate description. This mission relates to me as a person in several ways: I love to challenge myself with new projects (right now the water is 14 degrees celsius, and lowering every day - brrr), I love to use my city in new ways and I'm very fond of wateractivities, since I used to be a competition swimmer.
I also love to meet new people and use my languages - or learn new. As for my Danish skills I'm not just a native speaker, but also a BA in Danish Language and Literature, so if you have any questions on grammar or prononciation - please do not hesitate to ask. But be prepared that I might ask you about your language(s) too!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted several surfers, where I live in Copenhagen. One of my flatmates is a member of CS and we all got to share the good company of his sufers in our appartment. Now I've signed up with my own profile to start surfing myself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Has hosted. Not yet surfed... But I've enjoyed a lot of dinners in my old apartment with people from all over the world and bottles of wine...

Interests

Music, good food, dancing, and to meet new people. I enjoy both cooking and eating, and for the moment my favorite ingredient is fennel. I found that it's much cheaper here in the US, than in Denmark, so while I've been here (the last five months) I've had it almost everyday. A strawberry, arugula, fennel-salad is my specialty... When I'm not eating fennel, I like to bike around the city, to discover places I've never been before, to go to museums/the cinema/bars/concerts/etc. and to hang out with good friends or making new friends.
