I'm a 31 year-old personal trainer, powerlifter, and gymnast, who's into obscure 90s bands, outdated video games, crossword puzzles, and the science behind things. I'm a Capricorn and a cat dad.

I recently transplanted myself in Florida from Denver, though I'm originally from Louisiana and grew up in Texas.

I can speak a little Spanish and a really tiny bit of French, and I'm going to try my darndest to learn some basic Japanese this year.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In years past: hosting, surfing, finding all the fabulously rad folks this earth has to offer. To say the least, there has definitely been a fair amount of couch-surfing done on my part. I've taken a long hiatus from this site as I've done some growing up and have been more settled.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed many couches, beds, porches, futons, floors, trampolines, shark-shaped tents, a hammock and the occasional lawn. I've also hosted a fistful of times.

It's been a good while, but I'm about to dabble in a little travel.

Ask me anything about gymnastic strength training, powerlifting, mobility, or any other fitness-related questions. I also have a bounty of nutrient-dense recipes and delectable baked good recipes I can share. I'm a bit of a jack-of-all-trades, so there's always plenty to teach and learn!

I'd like to learn more about computers---coding, programming, etc. as well as the natural sciences (chemistry, biology). I'd like to learn more foreign language and I'm always open to learning more about powerlifting, gymnastics, nutrition, and fitness.
