About Me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I signed up to CS during my year that I've spent in France in 2008-2009 and had an amazing experience with a host in Marseille.. Actually it was an apartment where 3-4 friends lived together and the way they have endorsed us into their home and everydays for 2-3 nights was extraordinairy.. that was the moment I decided that I want to try the hosting part as well and give the same experience to some strangers that I got from these young people in Marseille...

Interests

I am interested in travelling (duuh) and in every form of culture. It can be a great book to read, an awesome piece of theater, a good wine in a pub with all different people around, or just simply an interesting way of thinking.. oh and not to forget: I am soooo green, conscious of my environmental responsibilities, trying to do the most that I can to make a difference. I truly believe that if each and every one of us stands up and does that tiny step towards having less of an impact on our planet, we can make a big step together.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Nothing to stand out of the crowd of many joyful moments of my life.. if I have to quote one thing, then it has to be a hitchhiking trip of 2400km around the gorgeous Iceland.. or hiking trips to the Julian Alpes.. or my year that I've spent in the US with a host family at the age of 17..

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am an open minded person, but I'm no perfect as I have no ability to play any instruments as many of you guys do!! :((
So if you're going to be my host at any point of time, please never ask me to join you in making any sort of music (for the benefit of the both of us) :D
However I am good in the kitchen, in both cooking and baking, so that I can offer, whilst having an interesting conversation on cultural differences ;))
