Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to get to know the people of other countries or cities I travel to.
I don't have a huge bank account and I most often can't afford expensive hotels.
But, honestly, I just love meeting new people and find out more about their culture and experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in Berlin the very night the Wall came down.
I took David Bowie to the Fine Arts Museum in Budapest and then had lunch with him.
I attended the one but last Nirvana concert.

My stories about being a concert promoter and producer in Eastern Europe before and after the collapse of communism. Stories in general about growing up in a communist country.
My appreciation for hosting, my smile. I can help out with minor household chores, like dishes and what not.
