Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I have traveled around about half the united states, and have been successful on CS a couple of times. The people were always great, and the couches were comfy. ^-^ I am an urban nomad for the most part. I love to travel around with people... Now I have a couch and would love to help people out!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've always wanted to be a traveler/gypsie/drifter/whatever, and i have only recently found the courage within myself to actually go through with it. I think the turning point was when i met Kara on one of her travels. she stopped in my town, and we instantly hit it off. My time with her finally awakened the desire within me to find myself and experience all that this world has to give me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

"Everything holds beauty, but not everyone sees it."

I forget who said that, but it is so true. look around you, there are amazing things to be seen everywhere, everyday. Hummingbirds (i believe the only bird capable of flying backwards and staying still in the air), bees (they are physically too heavy for their wings, but does that stop them? hell no.), the Fibonacci sequence (its everywhere - Sunflowers, shells, leaf patterns...), people, the universe and our incomprehensible tininess in it (or, rather, the incomprehensible *vastness* of the universe. Dude, that shits HUGE...), and pretty much everything in it. Amazing. Simply and yet incomprehensibly amazing.
Oh, and i saw my niece and nephew come into this world. That was pretty amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am ALL down for learning whatever you can teach me. It is one of my passions. As far as what i can share with you... well.. i love to talk to people, its really quite difficult to get me to shut-up (and if you are pleasant, then maybe i won't sing to you, hehe). I also carry my tarot cards with me everywhere, and i would be more than happy to give you a reading ^-^
