Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To expand my point of view to all possible scopes, to communicate, to live, and to love.
ABOUT ME
I have spent the last few years exploring Utah and working for a farm-to-table restaurant in Boulder. Before that I lived in the Midwest and managed a successful organic foods cooperative deli. I've succumb to the wanderlust, limited my worldly possessions, and am traveling for the winter.
Generally, I spend my free times playing outside (trails for days!), learning, trying new recipes, thrift shopping, dancing, running, hiking..,
PHILOSOPHY
"The most interesting and valuable thing about every person is their point of view." -Loyal Rue
"He who is not busy being born is busy dying." -Bob Dylan
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Since joining the site in June '10, I've hosted a variety of people, with a variety of stories. Our couch is always available to anyone who might be in need, and even though I am busy, my schedule can be generally flexible. I've surfed a number of times this year, and can't wait for the next opportunity to do so!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Wow, where to even begin? The friends that I have made on CS are some of the best of my life. The first time I hosted it was a couple of crazy kids from the east coast, making a documentary on hospitality (you can find Greg and Sara on my profile below, or look up their film, "American Bear". Go to this link to read what they had to say about D-town: http://www.americanbearfilm.com/travelogue/477). Every stay is a new experience... recently, I showed up way behind schedule, starving, and had no idea how to get where I needed to be for a show. My host, Eric, fed my friend and I, gave us a hand-drawn map, cab numbers, his house keys... the level of trust on this website amazes me time and time again.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once I held a human brain, and I like to think I have mastered a vegetarian version of Jacques Pepin's Wine Merchant steak.
