Chi sono
Hello hello, I am an Australian student lucky enough to be living in France for the next few months and eager to explore Europe. I have grown up in a house often filled with backpackers, and so am now giving it a go myself. I'm friendly, easygoing, and enthusiastic to be social but also respectful of your routine. Doing the dishes is my favourite chore, but I'm open minded to the others and happy to contribute however is best. Also, I have quite a skill for sleeping (perhaps my favourite of all activities), so very unstressed about the size, shape, colour etc of your coach :))
Perché sono iscritto su Couchsurfing
Well I want to have adventures and see more of the world!! And cliche as it may be, I really value getting to build community rather than just living in a tourist's bubble.
Musica, film e libri
My favourite book is Cat's Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut. My music taste changes all the time but I love Jon English, Lorde, any folk with strings, and some groovy jazz. My go to movies are anything by Studio Ghibli with the Boy and the Heron probably being my favourite
Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto
I spent a night in a hammock next to an abandoned house in the Serbian countryside (would do again but only with a mosquito net).
Insegna, impara, condividi
I could teach you some fun facts about Australia (maybe a little mythbusting about the dangerousness of our animals). I want to learn about your home, your country, and your lifestyle. Introduce me to some music, a favourite recipe, or some places I should visit. Also, I enjoy board games so if you have any to share, count me in. I would love to cook a meal to share with you, paired perhaps with a glass of wine, a conversation, and the meagre shreds of wisdom I have managed to accumulate over the past 21 years.
