I'm an army brat that has traveled the world as a child. I am doing it again as an adult. I have become a budding writer in the process because of my incredible adventures and the amazing people of this gorgeous planet. I am trying to live every day to the fullest; with love.... knowing that every person I met is special.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just started 3 months ago in Mexico. Most of the time I have stayed 2-3 days and usually go out to dinner or a ruin or something fun with my host. We later trade music and/or videos. As I travel I have more to share and will have a huge amount to share when I get home or go to europe next year. I really try to immerse myself into the people and city I'm in contact with so I can write about them later. And I take millions of pictures for the book and the incredible memories! Even if someone can't travel, I hope they can feel the places I visit from what I can share. I am making friends for life! I couldn't do this without couchsurfing. Thankyou.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a wonderful 1st surfing experience with Edgar in Cancun. He is a designer for masks and costumes dealing with the major resorts and nightclubs. We were facinated by his pictures! Two really fun nights in his apartment. He is a tender old soul, way beyound his years.
Next Brandon and I stayed with Rosi and her Family.Her boyfriend's family owns a resaurant and they treated us to dinner. Incredibly delicious! The next day we went to Cenote Azule in Playa del Carmen. It was breathtaking! Unfortuately, Brandon got a horrible ear infection that cost us all of our next allotment of $, but it sure was beautiful. They dropped us in Playa del Carmen and a women picked us up in 10 minutes off the street and we rented her house for a month. a condo with a pool and guards and a washer and stove: Wow. Diana is a massage therapist there, and a really fine one. She gave me a massage to die for! What a special person, thank you Diana.
Omar was my 3rd surfing experience. He owns a restaurant in Playa. His house is attatched. It's big, He has a parrot named Tut that he raised as a baby. ´What a smart bird, he sang me to sleep and woke me up the same way. Omar taught Brandon and I to make empanadas and ceveche. He also has a roomate named Gabriel that I love to death. He has a collection of skulls to die for! Gabriel arranged for me to see the dophins at Xcarett for a special price as a birthday present. What a preious gift, thank you Gabriel! We left for Chichen Itza the next day.
As we entered Merida we ended up at Ericson's. We stayed there almost two weeks and then trans fered twice. We ended up at the Ambassadors house (Daniel). How lucky can a human be. Daniel is one of a kind. I love him, he has enriched my life in so many ways and become a true friend. Peo'le are always coming and going @ his house. Right now I'm typing to you on a 3 story rooftop with him and two surfers from Hong Kong. We just ate local cevech from Progresso. Later we are going out to a new club. Maybe before or after that we will go by another surfers house and swim and or barbeque! What a life! I love Couhsurfing!!!!

Flying anything, exploring the same. Water, water,water. You know, I'm a Texan, and that means we like any thing near or in water. It just makes it special. But, hey, don't take my word for it. Come to Texas baby. The finest place on earth! No doubt. Period. And I've been alot of places.... But I digress. I love everything. Period. Even the bad people. they keep me from being bored. But I really love the ones who are willing to give their all to this planets growth. Keep it up.....
