About Me

CURRENT MISSION: Learning to surrender to life and learning Portuguese!

ABOUT ME

Do the opposite of what society tells you to do. Follow your own authentic path confidently knowing that the main reason you are here is to live firstly for your own soul expansion.

"Home is more about soul than soil"

€The World is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page.€
~Saint Augustine

Today you must choose to remember there is nobody else in the universe like you and reclaim your power as both a human and a divine being.~Debbie Ford

PHILOSOPHY

Living life under my terms so I have no regrets later on in life!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First couch surfing experience summer of 2013 in Europe! First in Madrid and second in Brussels and Brugge! Both AMAZING experiences!!! I'm a couch surfing fan :)!

Interests

**Currently obsessed with visiting Japan**Meditation, tea, meaningful/thought provoking conversations with open minded and cultured individuals, food(specifically Greek, Indian and Thai!), Francophile, Eastern philosophy , reading, writing, dancing, singing randomly out loud, being out in nature hiking, anything that has to do with mind, body, spirit; feeding my gypsy soul, unplanned vacations and day trips, doing something extreme.

Music, Movies, and Books

I can't live without my ipod! I'm currently really into listening to Latin pop, Bachata, and music in French and Portuguese for practice!

Books make the greatest gifts and I will one day have my own home library!
Recent books I've read: "A Thousand Splendid Suns" - this should be mandatory reading for all Westerner's!

"No Baggage-A Minimalist Tale of Love and Wandering" - this one feeds the wanderlust soul!

"Room" - I prefer the film(I typically prefer the book!) but the story in general makes me appreciate the freedom of stepping out into the world!

Paulo Coelho is my favorite author!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Great Wall of China is one of the most amazing things I've experienced because I never imagined myself standing on a piece of history I learned about in school.

Completing a 10 day Vipassana meditation course. 10 days in complete silence. Transformative to say the least!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am an EFL(English as a foreign language) teacher and I speak Spanish Fluently. I also practice meditation and enjoy guiding others in a meditation. So if you are looking to speak a second language or discover the stillness within through meditation, I can help!
Also, I speak French at a conversational level and I am learning Portuguese and would love to have partners to practice with!
