ABOUT ME

We're really curious and are always looking for our next adventure. In 2012 we quit our jobs in beautiful Santa Barbara, sold all of our belongings and hit the road for a 3 month long road trip. We've been free birds ever since, and even became self-employed in the process to continue our travels.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We've surfed all over the world, from the States, to Israel and even Iceland. Hoping to exchange all of the hospitality we've been shown once we have an awesome place of our own!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've met some of the coolest people through Couchsurf. It's our favorite way to travel. We first signed up as a way to save money while we traveled - but little did we know that it's so much more than that! We think it's the best way to experience a new place.

We love books about history, health and spirituality. We don't really watch TV but we have recently gotten addicted to The Walking Dead on Netflix!

We've been boarding down an active Volcano in Nicaragua.

Alyssa has been diving with Great Whites in South Africa and touched one of the sharks.

We've been on a TV show called Motion where they took us on an outdoors adventure in Alaska.

We've seen one of the seven wonders of the world- Petra.

....but most amazing is all of the people we've made connections with while traveling.

We're information sponges, we love to learn things we don't already know, and we love to share things we are passionate about! We can tell you a lot about nutrition and alternative/natural medicine.
