ABOUT ME

Curious about the world and its knowledge.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Having a place to surf in the new year(Brisbane!), available for coffee or drink any time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Opening a door that shape shifts, creating a rapport with new friends, living from moment to moment. So much better than tourism, seeing the 'real' heart of a place through the people.

Interests

Writing, black and white + photography, climbing tree's, blowing harmonicas, performing on streets, talking to strangers, waking at sunrise, reggae and dub music, debating, tea&coffee, dancing with mud, yoga, didgeridoo, rucksack adventure.

Music, Movies, and Books

Film is like magic for the senses, I enjoyed Mulholland Drive(w/Rosenthaler Str, Berlin), Science of Sleep(w/AUS) and Amelie(w/LON). Firstly I do have a book on the go something is right, my favourite books are a blend of fantasy, travel and non-fiction. Reading Dharma Bums by Kerouac currently and consequently anything by the beats is all right with me. Love for Murakami, Winton, Burroughs and CS Lewis. The books I'm reading are always changing.

Musically anything reggae, rock and dub step. Fat Freddy's :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling alone through Turkey, Bulgaria and remote Romania. Trekking through the varying weather conditions and hiking some of the local mountains inc Farghara's. This year 2011 i went on the Annapurna Base Camp trek without a guide.

Teach, Learn, Share

Going to remote regions of Australia, I could give advice on areas to visit. For example i know some great locations in Darwin, North and South Western Australia that could be useful. If you're considering a road trip, I'm no mechanic but I do have some useful tips for the shoestring traveler that would like to see authentic worlds. Fundamentally I can share anything I know about Australia's beautiful landscape, history and my travels. I can chat, because I wanna hear YOUR stories too!

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Malaysia, Nepal, Norway, Poland, Romania, Sweden, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
