Hi there! I'm a post-Chef Bartender gearing up to do some travel in Europe with my boyfriend of 2 years. I've lived in Costa Rica and Thailand and traveled Singapore, Bali, Mexico, most of the Caribbean, bits of Canada, Italy and England. I love good food, music, dance, adventure, conversation, science, art, adrenaline (like sky diving), lounging, warm rain, hot climate. My man and I have been living on a 29' Columbia sail boat for the last few months with interest in buying maybe a Brigantine. My future work goals are largely in metal fabrication and my gent owns his own company teaching outdoor wilderness survival. He has aspirations to become a black smith. We love to laugh.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I previously had an account with Couchsurfing in 2007 when living in Costa Rica and found couchsurfing to be a lifesaver! I'm a fairly independent traveler in that I enjoy a free-flow sort of travel (walking into random hostels instead of booking online, ect) and so I've found that making friends and having community around the world is a huge and wonderful part of traveling. My first reason for getting Facebook was to keep up with friends I met in Thailand in 2005. Its so great to be able to go somewhere new and meet up with a local to learn about a place. So much more personal that trying to sort through online deals and major tourist attractions. After enough travel getting off the beaten path is where the magic lives!

兴趣

Specifically I'm all about creating food and drink. I was a Cuisine Chef when I did that and now I focus a great deal on Mixolgoy. We eat 3 meals a day and drink way more than that. It should be GOOD. I love cartoons. LOVE. Futurama, Bobs Burgers, Archer, Gravity Falls, Adventure Time, Bravest Warriors, Bee and Puppy Cat, Loony Toons (all the classics really). I'm down with fashion. I'm down with hiking and forest life. I love to hot tub and swim.
My interests? Being alive.
Oh, and fire dancing. I am a fire starter, wicked fire starter :)
