ABOUT ME

A friend asked me: "why do you want to hang Taylor?"
My answer: "because I married him." (HaHaHa) Seriously my first name is Hang and,it has a meaning in Vietnamese. I think it means lady of the moon." Yep I'm a luna lady.
I prefer people to call me Hong(like Hong Kong)

Part-time student at city college, and in my spare time I volunteer at my son's after school program.

Future goal is to travel to Asia and Europe.

Love to meet people and share life stories.

I have traveled to Canada BC, The Pike Market in Seattle, Hawaii, and Viet Nam. I've also been to a Maylasian imigration camp (don't want to repeat that, wouldn't recommend it to anyone. In other words it suck big time!)

PHILOSOPHY

sit back and observe. You can learn a lot by watching people. I feel that I am very lucky to have the life I have now(good and bad) all the experiences shaped me, I like being me. If you can't laugh at yourself, I think thats sad.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

1. I have been hosting travelers to SF Since Feb 2010. 2. When I am able to I love to show the cs SF.
3. join events with other cs.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

New to couchSurfing. 2/19/10 and 2/20/10 I hosted for the time a young couple from Switzerland. Nina and Klaus? were the best guess any first time host would have. They were independant,respectful, and fun to talk to.

Meeting new people, reading, learning about San Francisco by joining social events.

I don't drink, but I still like to go dancing and have fun with friends. I'd love to take salsa lessions.

I like to listen to older country music( Patsy Cline, Hank Williams, Willy Nelson etc), rock (Byonce, Lady Ga ga,(yeah, I know Patsy Cline and Lady Ga Ga?)
golden oldies(The Franky Avalon, The Royal Tenenbaumn? etc.)
read craft books and self help books. I love to collect new hobbies and as for why do I want to read self-help books? Well I may think I'm perfect, but every one can always use some more improvements. (hahaha)or I maybe just plain nuts.

I like to cook with friends and family. Baking is my newest hobby. I need to find more friends to bake for.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The amazing thing I've seen so far is how very generous people can be, to strangers in need. like the family who sponsored my family to come to the US. The family and their church helped us to leave the immergration camp. These people helped us to adjust to life in the US.
