ABOUT ME

I am from England, but caught the travelling bug after finishing university, and have spent as much time inbetween teaching jobs, travelling as I can. I now live and work in lima, Peru. I love my life here and am looking forward to sharing some of my experiences here with you.
I work as a teacher in a bilingual school. At the weekends I do voluntary work for a school for death children. I am slowly learning sign language... as well as trying to improve my spanish.
I love diving, theatre ( i am in a English speaking theatre group here in lima), and going ut with my new friends and trying as many new restuarants, bars etc as possible.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been going to regular couch surfing meetups for language exchange in Lima. I have met up with some couch surfing members in some of the different cities I have been to.I am hoping to start hosting, and to couch surf in Colombia in january. But I have been Lazy, and am only just getting round to sorting out my profile!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Fav book - the life of Pi..its about a tiger on a boat, what more could you want.
Movies - Love actually, I know alot of you will think this is girly rubbish, but its a great British, christmas feel good movie.
music, I like a real variety of music, but I am a little stuck in the 90s British movies scene, love the smiths etc.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I am lucky, i have had lots of amazing experiences, but the one that stands out as I write this is diving with marine iguanas in the Galapagos.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I want to learn about the cultures and lives of the people in the countries I visit and not just see the land marks. I also think I can help offer people an insight into some of the lesser known things about the country I am living in.
