Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

There is a group of about ten young people (from 16-28 years old), we organise a kind of homestay to offer to volunteers, in order to live together. With this way, we would like to improve our English by talking regularly, discussing every simple activity to understand each other’s culture.
We are eager to talk in English, but taking language lesson is really not the best efficient way to gain the fluency. So the idea to have an English speaker to live with is our solution.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM VOLUNTEERS:
- Daily language practice in English in a family life style
- Fixed main time to manage the group: weekdays, from 7pm to 8:30pm, topic to be given by us. In this time, volunteers will help us converse in the most natural way, tell out personal opinion confidently, pronounce correctly, answer or make question to us to create the conversation, in the sweetest ambience.
- Volunteers need to keep available from 2pm to 4pm on weekdays for private tutoring in case any of us needs extra support. This will be scheduled the day before. If nobody asks for this extra support, you are free to hang out with any of us, or by yourself under your budget.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

WHAT WE CAN BRING TO VOLUNTEERS:
- Local life to discover Vietnamese culture, cusine, language, behavior,…
- Vung Tau is the city for tourist, so there are many exciting activities are waiting for you.
- There are some mountains in the city and surrounding area, also many beaches for you to discover
- Kite-surfing is also available if it is one of your interests
- Hang out together whenever any member is available, so volunteers can visit the city, explore local markets, spend time in many coffee gardens, taste fresh sea food and various tropical fruits
- On weekend, we will organise together outing trips, it could be one day or 2 days, depends on every member’s availbility, ideally: bbq in the forest, hot water stream bath, mountain trekking, photographing, catching fish in rural village,…
- The target is not to block you inside this nice apartment, we try to enjoy the time together as much as possible, in a very cost-effective way. So voluteer can immerse in Viet life with the very low expense.
