Hi, I’m Ha and I’m currently living in Brussels. I was born and raised in Hanoi, Vietnam but I have been on my own adventure since 16. It was thanks to these past few years abroad that I began to enjoy meeting new people coming from different cultures. I hope that through Couchsurfing I would be able to expand this experience of mine and get to know more people who I could have great experience and conversations with.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I grew up listening to ABBA and Modern Talking because of my dad, so that’s probably why I’m really into 80s and 90s music. Other than that, I love listening to rock & indie (The Strokes is my favourite) and rap.

For movies now I usually go for movies of genres other than romcom since I have watched them way too often (but somehow I always go back to them). Musical movies are something that I really enjoy as well. They just give me happy vibes.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

The thing that I really look forward to when meeting new people is to learn a bit about their language and their culture. If someone could teach me how to make the traditional dishes from where they are from then that would be absolutely amazing. In return, I could teach them some Vietnamese and probably cook them our dishes as well. I wouldn’t call myself a great cook but I love making food for my family and friends.
