Music, Movies, and Books
Watching movies is one of my favourite things to do, quite high up there, I enjoy exploring new movies randomly, especially the movies which I haven’t heard before and which deserve much more recognition than they have, share and recommend them to others, and these movies can be from any genre, any country, any director.
“Books are our friends” - that’s what I wrote in my essay at the school, and I still think so. I used to read much more before, during my school years or while doing my bachelor. Now, my master and job take most of my time, so I’m using more audiobooks which are convenient for me, because I can listen to them while exercising, cooking, cleaning or ironing. And I enjoy all the genres from classical romans to thrillers, from romances to fantasy, and for me, all books are good.
Of course, music is everywhere. And music is so wonderful! Unfortunately, I can’t play any instruments but I like to sing even though I’m not good singer. I feel also the same about the music, I can enjoy any type of music, and because it is so universal, I don’t need to know the language in order to appreciate it. It extends from old shanson to modern music, also I can go to the classical concert and then, on another day, to the heavy metal concert, and I do it spontaneously.
Teach, Learn, Share
I’m willing to learn as long as I’m alive, there is a russian proverb that I tell myself: «Век живи - век учись» = “Live a century - learn a century”.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Willingness to share my culture and also to learn more about other people and cultures, positive and open-minded attitude, willingness to listen and understand others’ views and opinions.
