HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Up for meeting up with and hosting friendly travellers! I love good conversations over a cup of tea (or any of your favourite beverages), and learning about different countries and cultures without leaving my apartment.

I'm on Couchsurfing to meet new people and make international friends. If I agree to host you, I expect to spend at least a little bit of time together. I have quite an active life, but when possible, I'll try to make room for showing you around the city, going to dinner/a bar or whatever it is you wish to do in Helsinki. That might not be possible with every guest, but at the bare minimum we'll have breakfast or evening tea together, and discuss a bit. :)

I can teach you where to find the shittiest and cheapest bars in Helsinki and the best 6 euro pizza downtown. Also some useless Finnish phrases and loads about Finnish culture - I grew up in the north, I know what I'm talking about :D

Hoping to learn more about countries I haven't visited. Maybe you can share your favourite vegetarian recipe from your country? With couchsurfers, I've noticed I always learn new stuff about Helsinki and Finland in general, too.

We can share some nice experiences together and I'm always up for explaining the Finnish life philosophy. It works everywhere!
