Trying not to be asked for my couch to be surfed when it shows I am travelling and NOT there and that there is clearly NOT a couch available at present...

ABOUT ME

It all amounts to e=mc^2. All of it. I appreciate energy and matter in all it's forms and in all the places it is to be found. I am a Nature lover and particularly bonkers about taking macro pics with my travel battered camera. I've been a lucky wanderer on this planet and I've had many brilliant experiences. Gratitude is my middle name.
I like people who are straight forward, honest and trusting, and who have expanded views on life, philosophy et al. Those who are not afraid to step out of their mental comfort zones are friends already!

PHILOSOPHY

Live it, see it, be it. If not, go back to bed with a good book and a cup of hot chocolate and try again tomorrow.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met the best people and had some memorable times. Very impressed. Just get rather tetchy when people don't read your profile and the inbox is full of surfing requests when people can clearly see you are travelling and are not there... that is if they bother to check!!

兴趣

Arachnology and Entomology, painting, I play the guitar with more passion than skill. I want to learn drumming and its going to happen soon (I can just feel it). I read too much - on every topic. I love languages (currently japanese is the thing) and seeing new places. Photography is a passion and its happening a lot in Macro. It's all in the bag... or will be soon hopefully!

Too many too many! Leo Tolstoy, "A Confession" and "What I Believe", Lyall Watson books, The Gita commentaries by Kriananda, just too many to write down. Not a movie buff. I like foreign films with incredible cinematography and scores. No American crap with predictable endings. Music... everything except Country.
