I grew up in Alexandria, Egypt and lived for two years in Cairo and a year in Colombia. Until very recently I was an English teacher, then I decided to move to the UK to pursue an MA in Human Rights, because... why not? and in the middle of this career shift situation, I have no idea wth I'm doing.

I'm vegan. I love animals and I still can't decide if I'm a cat or a dog person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to travel around Europe while I'm around. It would be nice to make friends around the world in the process.

I like mediocre pop music but I've recently developed a taste for reggaeton... Classy!
The Lumineers are my favourite band.
I have a thing for french music (especially Yann Tiersen).
I play the piano and the guitar, and when I say play I mean I only know a few pieces that I play over and over again.
My favourite film is Amelie, although I speak no French whatsoever.
My favourite author is Jeanette Winterson. My favourite book is her Why Be Happy When You Could Be Normal.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving! Nothing more fun than voluntarily jumping out of an airplane.
