Hej!
I'm a research assistant and student and live in Göttingen in the center of Germany. Beside my studies and my work I really like to read (mostly classic) literature, visit concerts (rock, classic) and try to travel as often as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm really interested in meeting new people, gaining new experiences, and getting to know new places and new perspectives. To my mind couchsurfing is an excellent possibility to visit places not just from the angle of a tourist, for your stay can be based on the experience of your local hosts.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Until now I do not have much experience with couchsurfing, but I'm looking forward to change this. I was hosted while travelling in Italy, and, to be sure, I have some experiences with living with other people, hosting friends and friends of friends.

Interests

I am, in general, into literature and music. Even though I have some favourites, it doesn't really matter which genre. Besides I'm interested in politics, I really like discussions about almost every topic. I enjoy cooking (and eating) vegan meals, drinking a glass of good wine and play some instrument (piano, guitar, drums) – even though my playing is rather mediocre. ;-)

Music: Singer-Songwriter, Post Punk, 90s Rock, Grunge, Black Metal, Indie, Alternative Rock, Post Rock, Classic Music (esp. Romantic and Impressionist), some (rather few) rap music

Movies: Open to many kinds of movies. Some favorites might be Ich bin ein Elefant, Madame, Sügisball, The Ice Storm, Ghost World, and almost everything by Jim Jarmusch

Books: Literature of the 18th Century, German and Portuguese Literature, Dramatic works, Fernando Pessoa, Terry Pratchett, Kristiina Ehin, Michael Bulgakov, L. A. V. Gottsched, Der Stricker...
