About Me
Hi my name is Hadi. I just graduated from the University at Buffalo with my architecture degree. A couple days after my graduation my brother and cousin and I decided to backpack through Europe to explore. We're blessed with some awesome cities back in the United States; however, considering it's colonial past, it's cities were designed in a completely different way. I'm very passionate about learning about the world around me and its unique cultures. I love food, people, buildings, cities, and clothes. Essentially, I plan on expanding my global perspective. I want to grow and experience the world around me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Both my brother and cousin accompanied me on my backpacking trip through Europe. Originally, I flew into Charles de Gaul airport and met them up in Madrid. On the 9th we will be splitting up as we all depart home. I am flying once again from Paris and arriving in Toronto. Since I will be alone, I believe couch surfing may be an excellent way to really understand Parisian culture! I loved my trip here and hopefully with practice, I may be able to practice architecture here in the future.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have been quite busy in school for the last four years so unfortunately I have not watched as many films as I would like to. However, I enjoy many artists such as Glass Animals, the Neighborhood, Black Keys, Cage the Elephant, and Alt-J. It I do get to watch a film I steer towards foreign films and indie directors.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm quite proud of completing my undergraduate degree of architecture at the University at Buffalo. It was really hard and took so much work and I started with not so great grades and ended up with a couple prizes and rewards before my graduation.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a stylist at J. Crew and I teach my customers how to dress and feel confident. I love pushing boundaries and getting them to embrace new styles and trends in Buffalo, a not-so stylish city (even though I love it!) Also, I like to give novice tours of the architecture back home. I get really into explaining the history and present state of the Rust Belt.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a little shy at first, but I love to talk and share life experiences. I am open to a tour of somewhere off the beaten path or a walk through town. I might be able to share a bit of knowledge about vernacular architecture and planning. I love chatting about development and city planning. However, I am open to experiencing new things!
