I am currently trying to meet more people, discover the world, and meet some new friends abroad who could show me around! My mission to is to learn and love.

ABOUT ME

My name is Hadley Orr. I am originally from a very small town in indiana. I am very adventurous, love to travel, and love life in itself! I play college volleyball, and eventually hope to teach science in a french speaking, third world country someday. I am almost fluent in French and truly enjoy helping people and hearing their stories. When people say to "suck the marrow out of life," I try to stick to that philsophy as best as possible. I am a Christian have rediscovered life since I became one.

PHILOSOPHY

I live according to the bible, (well try my best!), but there is also plenty of knowledge that comes from other scholars that I extremely appreciate.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am very new to couch surfing, but plan to travel more than host for the moment... because it is so difficult in college with dorms and all that stuff! However, I would be happy to show ppl around Lansing/Michigan if they would like. It's a wonderful place to be. I really hope to use couch surfing to travel around cheaply and meet new people.

I love swing dancing, reading, art, helping people, practicing french, learning, any type of dancing, and just about anything crazy and fun! I have gone sky-diving, crowd-surfed, scuba-dived, and traveled all over the world. I have been to France, China, Haiti, Mexico, and all over the U.S. but hope to travel much more than what I do right now! When I travel, I want to discover the most hole-in-the-wall restaurants, try all local food, meet new friends, and try something new that scares me :)

I have seen many many amazing things in my life that it's very difficult to choose a couple events to put down on paper.

I have sky dived.
I have sang the national anthem for a volleyball game.
I have run to the top of the eiffel tower.
I have been in the national volleyball championships.
I have run across the great wall of china.
I have climbed hills in Haiti.
I have kayaked in Hawaii.
I have scuba dived in mexico.
I have done bachata, salsa, swing, hip hop, ballet, and many other dances.
I have crowd surfed.
I have rode a mechanical bull.
I have participated in a dance marathon.

Really, there is just a collection of quirky, weird, and some not really impressive experiences that have constituted my life lol
