Hi there,

Me and Elena are 2 apprentice travelers. Not that we haven't travel before but because we are at the beginning of the biggest travel of our life so far. We just left our normal life behind us on April 2019.

We aim to reach New Zealand from Belgium without a plane prioritizing alternative ways of traveling such as hitchhiking, walking, horsing, sailing or biking.

Learning to be a traveler rather than a tourist is about spending time with locals, sharing experiences with them, going off the beaten track, confronting ourselves to the unknown and learn more about ourselves.

One other principle that drive us is to give back and share as much as we can. We have a lot of free time so if people help us on the way we would like to help them in return.

For us couchsurfing is a fantastic platform to help us turn those words into a reality.

Interests

I come from an artistic family and I am really connected to arts in general, especially music.

I listen to various genre such as electronic music, house, techno, minimal, jazz, funk, soul, world music, etc. When I still had my own appartement, I was spending a lot of time in record shop digging for vinyls to enrich my personal collection. Now I need to enrich my digital collection as it is way more convenient for traveling than wax.

I love to discover new types of food and I love spending time in the kitchen to cook for my friends. I will be really pleased to cook a french meal for you :).
