Overview
About Me
Hey! I’m Taha
I am an idealist at heart and an entrepreneur at craft.
I am someone who’s deeply curious about people, cultures, and the stories hidden inside cities. I am currently based in Lisbon doing my master's in industrial strategy and innovation, but outside academia, I am a tech entrepreneur running an automation company.
I love long conversations, walking through old neighborhoods, discovering local cafés, and talking about history, spirituality, cities, and how societies evolve over time. I’m also building creative projects like podcasts, documentaries, and small cultural meetups mostly driven by curiosity.
I’d describe myself as calm, respectful, open-minded, and thoughtful. I value deep conversations, but I also enjoy silence, walks, and simple moments.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me, Couchsurfing isn’t about free accommodation; it’s about human connection.
I believe the best way to understand a city is through the people who live there: their routines, their memories, their favorite spots, and their way of seeing the world. I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and learning how life looks through their eyes.
I’m happy to surf, host (when possible), meet for coffee, or simply walk and talk.
