About Me
I recently came back from an eight-month adventure around North America and couch surfed all over the place. Now that I'm back for a bit of time, moved out of my hometown and now live in Heidelberg, which is a beautiful city in the south of Germany, where I'll be doing my BsC - at least that's what the plan is, haha.
I'd like to give something back to the community and host people from all over the world. So, if you share the same vibes and are fun to be around, don't hesitate to ask :)
I'm fairly young, just graduated from high school, and took a year off to see places, get to know people, make friends, have fun, laugh, live and explore before I will attend university in fall 2017 - at least that's what the plan is.
I love being outdoors, hiking, rock climbing, watching sports and having beers, talking about serious as well as amusing things, parties, good stories, making new friends, books, doing things I've never done before but also "boring" things like science and philosophy. If we meet up, we can have the most philosophical conversations you could imagine, ask my friends, haha.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me, Couchsurfing contributes something very unique to the whole travel experience. Nowadays, everyone can travel places, take pictures, go back to their impersonal hotel rooms and stay there for the night - but it would never be the same.
Even if Couchsurfing would be the same price as a hotel, etc. I would definitely always prefer it. So far I've met absolutely incredible people with unbelievable stories who've taught me so much about life - I love it.

Music, Movies, and Books
I dedicate a huge part of my time to music. Listening to it all day, whenever I can, whatever I'm doing. I'm really into old school hip hop and all kinds of techno/electro at the moment, just love the vibes. On the other hand, I'm a huge fan of classic rock, hard rock, all kinds of folk/indie music. If I get the vibe, I don't really care about the genre- so should you :)
Books are a little more tricky. I definitely prefer non-fiction but I don't have favorites. I love biographies and travel journals but also got into science literature or even (german) classic literature. So far, the books that have stood out were "Into the Wild" and "Vagabonding".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I recently went on a 51-day-roadtrip, across the western parts of Canada and the US, only using Couchsurfing or sleeping in the car. I even participated in a Vegas wedding - as a "best man" though, haha.
Did the famous Stairway to Heaven (Haiku Stairs) on Oahu, Hawaii and skydived above the North Shore!
Drove from Canada to Mexico with a mate because they had good waves.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd consider myself as a respectful, honest and grateful surfer - you definitely won't habe any trouble with me.
We can just hang out, explore cities or nature, go rock climbing if you feel like that, have good conversations and the one or other wine or beer, do sports, watch sports and just have a good time!
