ABOUT ME

Hello folks,
I'm Raphaël, a traveling frenchman from Toulouse, France. I made my first trip to the US on my own at the age of 15 and never quit traveling around ever since. I'm always curious to know how things are at others' places. I've been living in Israel, Sweden, Spain and a fair share of time in the US.

I have been making friends around the world for years, and been surfing their couch for just as much time... but there are still places I have never been to, and where I don't know anybody.

Last summer, I was invited to a couchsurfing get together in Rio, and met people surpringly similar to me: young open-minded globe trotters, looking for the best way to enjoy their trips.

I have been urged to join this site to meet people, make friends and take part in this amazing experience.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm just getting started in here, and I'm going to be traveling for the first part of the year. So hopefully meet some fellow couchsurfers, and host some people when I'm back home.

I'm a card player and I travel the world with a purpose: playing in competition. It's no Poker, it's no gambling, and you've probably heard about it and I'll be happy to tell you what it is if you ask nicely! :)
