ABOUT ME

I like to move around. I think if you stay in one place for too long, you become too comfortable and your urge to experience/discover new things starts to dwindle as you forget what it was like to leave your bubble. Traveling is sort of essential to staying healthy because of this... I'm tri-lingual. I've had a bit of a nomadic life. I am studying graphic design in school and like to doodle. I've traveled quite a bit recently and want to make sure it continues this way.

PHILOSOPHY

Moving around helps keep your mind open. If you stay put for too long, you become less aware that there is more out there than what's in your immediate sight.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been on both sides of the couchsurfing experience, as a host and as a traveler in need of a place to stay, so I can definitely appreciate this project and am willing to help others out as much as I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed with 3 couchsurfers in Europe during a six week trip in the summer of 2008, and just recently had my first experience as a host. We also recently had our first local meet-up of CS Members, which went quite well. I'm looking forward to future CS activites :)

Music, Movies, and Books

far too many movies to list, one of my recent favorites is Paris, je t'aime.

music: nick drake, leonard cohen, the frames/glen hansard, brian eno, beatles, otis redding. '60s music is good. The entire set of the Monterey Pop Festival from '67. armenian - ruben hakhverdian.

books: my first and favorite childhood book was The Little Prince, and i still like it a lot. c. bukowski, vonnegut, hemingway
