I have been in Asia for almost five years now. It was here that I met my boyfriend Charlie Pettitt. Together we have lived and taught in Thailand and China. When we’re not teaching, we’re of course traveling. We left our jobs in China in May 2019 and have been traveling around Asia since then. We will be moving to New Zealand later this year.

When traveling, we love learning about local cultures and eating local food. We also enjoy a good adventure!

While I Thailand, I hosted a lot of couch surfers in my home and we have both tried couchsurfing in many different countries. We hope to continue to have unique experiences with couchsurfing through meeting locals.

I’m on couchsurfing because I love to meet people from different backgrounds and learn more about their cultures. I love having the opportunity to get to know local people and experience their unique lifestyles.

兴趣

Of course, my greatest passion is to travel. I enjoy experiencing new and different cultures and broadening my horizons.

I've been horseback riding my whole life so I have an undying love for horses. I also love working with dogs and cats so have done quite a bit of volunteer work at animal shelters. A couple of years ago I began scuba diving and I can’t get enough of it. Spending time in the ocean has become a huge part of my travels. I also enjoy spending time int he mountains whether it be snowboarding, trekking or just relaxing. I’ll never say no to a good adrenaline rush!

Lastly, I love teaching. I became a teacher about five years ago and I love connecting with students and helping them on their journey towards learning an new language.
