Overview
About Me
I graduated from university last year and currently live with one of my best friends in the beautiful Okanagan Valley. I’m passionate about traveling, spontaneous adventures and doing the extra little things to make someone’s day. I like to think that I’m pretty laid back in most aspects... Only two requests - no drugs and you must like playful sarcasm.. I can’t help it, okay?!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I realized that I've gone straight from school to school to work and it's time to live a little! I've done some traveling in the past, but it's always been family vacations or through organizations and I'm ready to explore a bit on my own. Couchsurfing sounds like a great way to meet new people, hear suggestions from local people that know best and swap stories from previous adventures! As for my own home, I have a wonderful sectional that could definitely host 2 and a decked out secret reading nook that has been one of my favourite places to sleep in the world.
Interests
I sound so typical for around here, but: reading, writing, cooking, crocheting, Netflix, exploring new areas around me, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, camping, fishing and site seeing.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like a little bit of everything!
I usually tend to stick to slower music genres and enjoy bands like Coldplay, City and Colour, Ed Sheeran, Hozier and Our Lady Piece.
I admit to being a bit of a Netflix junkie! I usually stick with the good ol' RomComs and medical dramas, but I do enjoy documentaries, action movies and horror/thrillers if the mood is right! You can't go wrong with Orange Is The New Black, Archer, The Walking Dead, etc!
I love reading, but often need to reign myself in if I want to get anything done! I'm the type of person to pick up a book and not be able to put it down until I've finished. I love all types of books including Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, The Fault in Our Stars and many more!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
For my final practicum in nursing school, I spent 2 months in Ghana, Africa working in hospitals and local clinics. It was an amazing experience that shaped me into who I am today.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm shy and I'll probably be a little apprehensive at first, but I'm friendly, kind, considerate and passionate about having as many experiences as possible! I understand that accepting strangers into your home opens the doors to many (and sometimes scary) unknowns, but I know that with a little faith and trust we can have an amazing time together!
