I grow up dreaming about many things. I still dream a lot while awake, thinking about great things I could do. I imagine that it's impossible to do everything I have already thought, but I sure can make good part of this fantasy something real. I believe travelling is going to help me to reach this. This can mean happiness, what doesn't mean i'm not happy. I just like to always feel it most part of the time. I'm 26, but my head keeps the boy I used to be and the old man I will become. Journalist, sometimes poet, son, brother, cousin, nephew, always a friend. (ps: it's always hard to write about me)

Eu cresci sonhando um monte de coisa. Eu ainda sonho muito enquanto estou acordado, pensando nas coisas incríveis que eu poderia fazer. Imagino que seja impossível fazer tudo o que já pensei, mas certamente posso fazer boa parte dessa fantasia algo real. Acredito que viajar vai me ajudar a alcança isso. Isso pode significar felicidade, o que não quer dizer que eu não seja feliz. Eu só gosto de sentir-me assim na maior parte do tempo. Tenho 26 anos, mas minha cabeça mantém a criança que eu costumava ser e o homem velho que me tornarei. Jornalista, por vezes poeta, filho, irmão, primo, sobrinho, sempre um amigo. (ps: é sempre difícil escrever sobre mim mesmo)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really like to travel and I started a long journey around the world in augusto. I planned the longest trip of my life and I want to visit at least 30 countries in a row. So, I think Couchsurfing can be a nice way to meet people and know better about local life in each place I might stay. Of course it will help me to spend less money, but I really mean it when I say the purpose of my journey is to meet new friends.

Eu gosto muito de viajar e comecei uma longa jornada pelo mundo. Planejei a maior viagem da minha vida e quero visitar cerca de 30 países de uma vez. Então, acho que o Couchsurfing pode ser uma maneira legal de encontrar pessoas e conhecer melhor cada lugar. Claro que também vai me ajudar a gastar menos dinheiro, mas eu realmente quero fazer novos amigos.

Interests

I can say travelling is my biggest interest nowadays, but I love to read, I love music and sports. Football (soccer) is one of the main passions of my life. Well, and good stories also make me feel entertained. I like to hear and to tell.

Eu posso dizer que viajar é o que mais me interessa atualmente, mas eu amo ler, amo música e esportes. Futebol é uma das principais paixões da minha vida. Boas histórias também me entretem. Gosto de contá-las e de ouví-las.

Music, Movies, and Books

That's difficult, because there are many things likeable... Well, I love brazilian music and Toquinho and Vinicius made the songs that really touched me in life, like João Gilberto and Novos Baianos. Also like jazz. My favorite movies are Before Sunrise, Before Sunset (Before Midnight isn't that great), Midnight in Paris, Rocky Balboa and Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Books: I like Vidas Secas, written by Graciliano Ramos, Libro de las Preguntas, written by Pablo Neruda, and The Old Man and the Sea, written by Ernest Hemingway.

Isso é difícil de dizer, porque tem muitas coisas que eu gosto... Bem, eu amo música brasileira e Toquinho & Vinicius fizeram músicas que realmente me tocaram, como João Gilberto e Novos Baianos. Também gosto de jazz. Meus filmes favoritos são Antes do Amanhecer, Antes do Entardecer (Antes de Meia-noite não é tão bom assim), Meia-noite em Paris, Rocky Balboa e Curtindo a vida adoidado.
