About Me

ABOUT ME

IMPORTANT: WE WON'T BE AVAILABLE FOR SOME MONTHS BECAUSE WE ARE MOVING.
We are a couple living in Bilbao: Haizea is 33 and Arsenio 35 years old. For Haizea, the most important thing in live is travelling and discovering. For Arsenio, the most important thing in live is eating. Fortunately both likings are perfectly compatible!
Moreover, we both love meeting new people and getting to know more about different cultures, minority languages and divers ways of seeing the world.
We are calm people. We like reading, going in trips, discovering new places(no matter if in the other side of the world or around the corner!), getting lost in the streets...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far we have had wonderful experiences. We have mainly hosted, because we have limited time for travelling, but we're planning our next trip and hope to increase our experience being hosted too!
If we have time, we love to show people around, otherwise give tips, and in any case try to cook something traditional if time and work allow for it :)

Interests

Art and literature. Languages (all of them, but specially minority ones - we feel identified!). Cinema. Gastronomy, how could I have forgotten! Arsenio likes and plays handball.

Music, Movies, and Books

We like going to the cinema and watching the weirdest movie (sometimes we regret!). Anyways, in Bilbao this tends to be not that experimental! It doesn't mean we're big cinema experts though, just curious amateurs.
We read basically everything, all from classics to young writers. Arsenio prefers poetry, Haizea reads rather narrative, but also essays, mostly about art and politics.
We like playing Galician cornamuse early in the morning (noooooooooo it's a joke!)

Teach, Learn, Share

A couple of typical Basque and Galician dishes!
Some good and bad words in our languages ;)
Why contemporary art is not as shit as everybody thinks ;)
Beautiful and/or interesting places of the Basque Country and Galicia
