CURRENT MISSION
Remember each place through the special people we meet.
ABOUT US
We're a happy Argentinian-Malaysian couple (guess who is who in the photo :P ).
After doing some traveling around South America and Asia we spent a year doing odd jobs around NZ and another year in aborigin communities in the Australian outback. It dawned on us how much education were we missing even (or especially) after finishing university.
Now back to New Zealand for a year, or maybe fifty.
Traveling is the answer, we just need to figure out which is the question :)
PHILOSOPHY
Having had education, food, a family, health, and on top of that passports that make traveling easy... just can't see how could we be luckier. So our philosophy is feeling grateful :)
I am also vegetarian and agnostic (Nicolas) and I'm Buddhist (Kee), absolutely keen on talking about spirituality and religion.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW WE PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Been to lots of gatherings, received some hosts and surfed some cozy and curious "couchs", even inmaterial ones :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Through CS we've known many visitors from abroad and great people from our countries :)
It's an awesome way of getting to know interesting people...
We feel both proud and happy about having introduced great friends from "the Road" to CS . But there are still heaps of people that grew up being fed that traveling was impossible for them... let's change that wrong mindset, we say!
Interests
Reading, travelling, and talking about metaphysics. I also like to play the piano, guitar and charango, to act at a very amateur level, and to take part in Toastmasters. (Nicolás)
Reading, cooking, eating, shopping, solving situations caused by my boyfriend's clumsiness (Kee)
Lately we've been trying to learn basic stuff in several languages, resulting on inability of learning any one of them :P
- reading
- bungee jumping
- swimming
- languages
- chuck palahniuk
- chinese culture
- haruki murakami

Get a prize for something I wrote.
We met and hitchhiked the whole North Island in New Zealand doing wwoofing in between... and so traveling for 45 days spending less than USD20.
Worked in Australian Aborigin communities for a year, witnessing and learning from one of the oldest cultures in the world :)
Learning Chinese and teaching English for about two years in China... the most fascinating country :P
Teach, Learn, Share
Help people who want to learn Spanish, English, some Italian, Māori or Chinese, Biology, and some basic Chemistry and Physics. Kee can teach programming and cooking :)
Learn, the first things I can think of are parkour, rock climbing, advanced Chinese, tango (it's reasonable for Kee, but shame on me, Argentinian), singing, and hundreds more.
Share: a "mate"(South American tea-like beverage) here in Christchurch, a coffee (when we are in Vietnam or if still have some Vietnamese coffee left), a laugh, a serious chat, some childish games played with the fingers, a lot of data from the places we've been to, share each other (kidding), our clothes, if you need them and we are the same size, etc.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Cooking, cleaning, gardening (done heaps of them), amusing fake psychological tests, etc. :P
