About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Being grateful for each and every moment!

ABOUT ME

Pretty simply put, we want to experience all the dreams that we have ever dared to dream. And we are off to a pretty good start: about 15 years ago we met one another in Atlanta and we have been living a dream ever since!

Meeting new people is a joy for us. Even more so, when we are able to create genuine friendships our lives are truly enriched. We collect little more than memories, rocks, and birthdays and we travel with our most valuable possessions: each other.

Music, makes us happy. Playing in the dirt makes us feel safe. Our atlas is our journal.

PHILOSOPHY

Keep it honest, be curious, stay motivated, live your life as authentically as possible!

Encourage the unimaginable.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've hosted a number of people and look forward to hosting and visiting with many more CSers in the years to come! People have come and gone, depending on their schedule, but it has been true that the longer the stay, the more likely we were to establish friendships that have lasted beyond the initial introduction.

With one CSser for example, by the end of his 8th and final day with us, the two of us fell asleep on the floor of his guest room while he slept on the couch because we were talking well into the night - he totally became like family!!

Interests

Following dreams, either our own or those of others. Visiting intentional communities and tracking down roadside attractions. Our favorite so far: Carhenge Alliance NE(*: Camping, road trips, meeting and talking with interesting people. Giving gifts and sending snail mail. Collecting postcards, foreign currencies, and rocks.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jonathan- Getting married! And falling asleep in the manger in Bethlehem(*:

Kysha- Giving birth to our son Joia, in his great-grandmother's car, right outside the hospital emergency room entrance. And watching Jonathan sleep, in the manager, in Bethlehem(*:

Teach, Learn, Share
