Hi, my name is Hakan 23 years old, from Türkiye (Turkey), studying veterinary medicine. I am currently doing my studies as an erasmus exchange student in Poland/Warsaw.
Last summer I did “work and travel” programme in the USA/ Washington D.C.
I would like to visit as many countries as possible before my 30’s, before settling down and drown in responsibilities and life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet with true travelers and listen to first-hand crazy/cool experiences from people of the Earth. Although I mainly focused on visiting European mainland for this year, I am open to get to know people from all over the world! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a cycling tour of 861km including all of the historical and touristic places en route, as part of the expedition-holiday taking 11 days, with 2 of my friends from high school, at the age of 18. I can still feel the soreness in my legs. It was totally worth it.

I can teach you some basic expressions in Turkish, in exchange for your local language :)
I can teach you how to properly take care of your pet/companion animal.
I can share the experiences I had from my past expeditions.
We can cook together and I could tell you the story/history of “Spice trade”.
